Share Your Brilliant Skills: A Workshop for Practitioners Ready to Make a Difference
By Practitioners Garden in support of Shiatsu Awareness Month
The workshop took place on June 28th. For the replay - join the Practitioners Garden Facebook Group and see the pinned post.
The world needs your skills.
Mental health rates are skyrocketing. Anxiety and depression are rife as stresses stack upon another. People are struggling to cope.
And it’s becoming too obvious that Western medical models don’t have the solutions to overcome many of the health challenges humanity is now faced with.
Part of the solution is the headling modalities offered by holistic or ‘alternative’ modalities.
But some Practitioners are not sharing their skills, or making it easy for potential clients to find them.
Why?
In my experience, it’s due to these 3 key areas:
Fear of being visible
Confusion about explaining what you do (and how it benefits people)
Uncertainty around telling your people you exist
This is the first workshop from the Potting Shed - the space for nurturing the new.
After our hour together in the Shed, you will:
Feel energised about your skills and your practice
Know how to explain what you do (and how it benefits people)
Be ready to tell your people you exist!

About Sarah
Since launching my practice in the UK and India, I've made a ton of mistakes, overcome many hurdles (including restoring my health after burnout) and experimented with different solutions.
In addition to running my own practice, I now support other Practitioners to grow their own thriving holistic practices.
I was Board Director at the Shiatsu Society for two years so I saw close-up the various ways that Practitioners struggle to establish their practices.
I also established and ran a community project in Brixton, South London for several months. The Healing Circle gave people access to holistic treatments and supported new Practitioners to share their skills.
I’m a qualified Shiatsu and Reiki Practitioner, and am a QiGong Instructor.
